I’m so excited to be participating in my first ever One Room Challenge this year. This has been something that I have wanted to participate in for so long. In case you have no idea what the heck I’m talking about. The One Room Challenge is a six-week challenge to make over one room. It features 20 designers and many more guest participants. This season I’ve signed up as a guest participant and I’m super excited about it. So every Wednesday for the next six weeks, I’ll be updating you with all the lovely and not-so-lovely parts of renovating a 30+-year-old bathroom.Read More
I finally finished Wendy’s big girl room. It took a lot longer than expected but it’s done and I couldn’t be happier, and neither could Wendy. Using hues of pinks, blues, purples, and greys I wanted to create a space that sparked creativity and relaxation and of course, I wanted it to be a pretty little girls room that Wendy loves and would want to spend time in. I also wanted to create a space that encouraged her to be a little more independent. I took some inspiration from all over the internet and from Wendy. I became fascinated by the Montessori philosophy and so I wanted to incorporate elements of that into her bedroom. Here’s the final result of all of that.Read More
