There’s something so sweet and satisfying about the first bite of an apple crisp dessert. It just screams comfort to me and being that I’m a pretty anxious person who loves comfort food, it should come as no surprise to anyone that I have about 4 of these 2 serving apple crisps frozen in my freezer right now. These are the easier desserts to keep in your freezer. Whether you have some surprise guests come over or you’re expecting a little one, these freezer friendly apple crisps will make dessert time so much easier.
This is the perfect dessert for the Fall and it’s so simple to put together. It tastes amazing when warm and served with a scope of vanilla ice cream. Plus make a bunch of these and pop them into your freezer for Fall. Then when September 1st comes around and you start to get all the fall feels, pull one out of the freezer, thaw it and bake it in the oven.
I’ve included the recipe below because sharing is caring and I seriously believe you need this apple crisp in your life this fall!

- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
For the topping

- 2 cups butter, cut into small cubes
- 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
- Cut the apple into slices and place them in a large bowl.
- Combine apples, lemon juice, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2tbsp of flour, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and 1/8 tsp of nutmeg.
- Divide apple mixture evenly into freezable aluminum trays. I managed to get 6 trays filled.
- Now for the crumble combine the flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
