Just about everyone has watched or at least heard of the film, It's a Wonderful Life. It's probably one of my all-time favourite Christmas movies, actually it might just be my favourite movie. George Bailey's struggle is one that is so raw and so deep that it makes it a classic telling of a basic human struggle; would the people around be better without me; would anyone notice if I didn't exist?

But did you know that the famous Frank Capra film was actually based on a short story called The Greatest Gift? If you haven't read it, you really should. it's a quick 5 minute read that's sure to hit a few heart strings.
