Our house is a constant work in progress but Chris knew this when he bought it. When we first decided to redo our first foyer we knew we wanted it to be inviting, bright and kinda cool. So let me show you what we started with, this was an easy makeover.

I just had to share the cool stuff I found on my random life journeys. For example, I have not seen these cereals in ages and then yesterday while I was putting up some groceries at a local Fortinos I looked up and couldn’t believe it! I found boxes of Franken Berry and Count Chocula cereal!!!
Yeah I know it’s crazy awesome! My breakfast routine is almost complete…now I just have to find a box of Yummy Mummy cereal.
Hey do you want to know what else I found while I was therapy shopping… how about some cool lego sets and perhaps a Mockingjay Pin.

If you haven’t already, I definitely recommend reading The Hunger Games Trilogy. It is brilliantly written. Not to mention the movies are great. So if you haven’t already, go out and buy them.
Are you also wondering what to get the Simpsons fan in your life? I recommend the Simpsons lego pieces above. They come in mystery packs so you may end up spending more than you would like but I love them and I don’t mind the surprise I get from opening a package.

If you’ve read my ‘About Me’ page or glanced over some of my tweets on twitter, you have probably noticed that I am a self-proclaimed geek. I love all things Disney, have a slight obsession with Superman, crazy over star wars, love classic comic books and I’m always on the lookout for cool and awesome toys. Trust me, that list could go on and on but I’ll spare you…this time. So without any more chatter I present my current ‘I’m *hearting* list…geek edition!!
First up, it an awesome cool charm that I could add to my Pandora bracelet.
I found it online at ThinkGeek. It’s called the ‘Latte (He)art Charm Bracelet. Can you believe when I first received my pandora bracelet I thought “What the hell am I suppose to put on this?” I found my answer!
Next up, are these amazing cookie cutters!!
I actually owe these and I LOVE THEM!! My brother was also SUPER jealous of the fact that it came with a Boba Fett. Yup, he is also a HUGE Star Wars fanatic. I’ll showcase his massive collection in another future post. Ps. if you are looking for that perfect gift for a Star Wars kitchen nut, I highly recommend these.
And honestly who can resist this book!

That’s right!! I’m married!!! *cue cheers* Chris finally made an honest woman out of me.
Can I just say it feels weirdly awesome to be married. I’m his Mrs and he is my Mr. Weird! BUT AWESOME! I still haven’t really let it sink in. A lot of people kept telling me that life wouldn’t change considering Chris and I were already living together but I do feel as if it is different. I don’t know what it is about it but it’s just a different feeling. A great feeling though. Man, I can’t believe the day is gone
