One of the best vacations we have ever taken as a couple sans kids has to be our honeymoon at Sandals La Source Grenada. Back when Chris and I were just dating, we took a vacation to a Sandals resort in Cuba, which unfortunately is no longer owned by Sandals, but we loved every single minute of that trip. So when it came time to pick a honeymoon location, we knew that we wanted to keep it in the Sandals family. They offered a military discount, plus because we had stayed with them before, we were part of their Sandals Select Rewards Program, which allows us to collect points to use towards future Sandals/Beaches vacations. Initially, we booked at the Grande in St. Lucia but when we received an email informing us of their brand new resort in Grenada, we jumped on it. We moved our reservation over and we don’t regret it one bit!

If someone told me years ago that I would be using a small device to turn on lights, turn up my house’s temperature, and find answers to questions with my voice, I would laugh out loud. Well, it’s happened. When Amazon released its Alexa enabled devices in Canada, I bit the bullet and purchased the Echo Plus as well as a few Echo Dots and an Echo Show (which is only available for purchase in the USA). Here’s the thing I didn’t realize how much I would actually use it and how much fun we would have with it.
Can you believe it’s March already! This year is just flying by. A lot of people in my life actually told me that when I had Wendy, time was going to go by much too quickly and they were right. Can you believe that Wendy is already in her toddler years! I know, it’s crazy. Even my fur-baby is growing up too fast. Lady will be turning 7 years old this year. It’s nuts and honestly, I don’t really want to be wasting my time doing things like cleaning, when there are better things to do. I’m sure I’m not the only mom out there who feels this way.
